Dr. Srini Pillay is a renowned Harvard-trained psychiatrist and brain researcher. After graduating medical school at the top of his class, he completed his psychiatric residency at McLean Hospital, Harvard’s largest freestanding psychiatric hospital. While there, he won more national awards than any resident in his class, and was one of the top three award winners in the United States.
Dr. Pillay is a certified master coach who works with executives from numerous international multilaterals and Fortune 500 companies, including Coca Cola, Lockheed Martin, Blue Shield of California, Ernst and Young, Prudential, the United Nations, the World Bank, and many others. Dr. Uma Naidoo is a board-certified nutritional psychiatrist, professional chef, and nutritional biologist. A graduate of Harvard Medical School, Cornell University and the Cambridge School of Culinary Arts, she is the bestselling author of “Calm Your Mind with Food” and “This is Your Brain on Food”, the latter of which has been published in 23 countries and translated into 19 languages.
Described by the late MICHELIN-starred chef David Bouley as the world’s first “triple threat” in the food and medicine space, the nexus of her interests and expertise have found their niche in nutritional psychiatry.
Dr. Naidoo founded and directs the first and only hospital-based nutritional psychiatry service in the United States. She is the Director of Nutritional, Lifestyle and Metabolic Psychiatry at Massachusetts General Hospital, and Director of Nutritional Psychiatry at the MGH Academy, while also serving on the faculty at Harvard Medical School. She designed and released the first and only CME-based educational program, jointly offered through Massachusetts General Hospital and Harvard, to educate other clinicians globally about nutrition for brain health.
